Rated RSO sells out, rocks Joe's Pub

On May 4, Rated RSO: The Music and Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver played to a tightly packed, sold-out crowd at Joe’s Pub in New York City.

Directed by Travis Greisler, the cast featured Kate Shindle, Alex Brightman, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Morgan Karr, Lindsay Mendez, and Natalie Weiss, with Cait Doyle, Mat Burrow, Jeffrey Cuttler, Arielle Jacobs, Geoff Kidwell, Katie Gassert, Lyle Mackston, Grace Wall, and introducing Jennifer DeRosa. The band was led by B. T. Ryback with Brian Boyce on drums, Eric Day on bass, Matt Hinkley on guitar, Sharon Kenny on keyboard, and Allison Seidner on cello. The evening was assistant directed by Daniel Seth and produced by Rob Shapiro and Alexander Rea.

Rated RSO will return to Joe’s Pub this September. Official videos of the event will be uploaded weekly until the show’s return, beginning with “Song of the Dead Fairy” and “Invent Yourself.”
