What students are saying about ACTOR THERAPY:

This class has truly helped me expand as a performer.  I’ve grown up a lot in this class. I’ve realized that I can’t wait around any more for something to happen for me. I’ll forever be grateful to you two for everything you’ve taught me. It’s made me a better, more confident actor! – Courtney B.

Ryan and Lindsay are helping me unlock my insecurities and discover what what getting between me and truly telling a story. Calling it a class doesn’t begin to cover it…it is therapy! You are truly being understood and HEARD by people you admire. – Lisa K.

Where great therapy requires intimacy and great theatre requires community, RSO and Lindsay Mendez have combined both to create a phenomenal working space where you are with family. Their not-so-secret ingredient is heart… or is it sass? – Tim J.

Working with Ryan and Lindsay has been honestly one of the greatest experiences of my life. They have such great methods and truly believe in all of us students. Learning from them as two people who are contemporary artists, has shown me that there are no limits, when it comes to performing. Every young actor should be taking their class. – Lucas B.

I initially signed up for The Actor Therapy Class Series in hopes to improve my book, discover positive and negative habits, and to generally improve my audition process. This class has fulfilled all of these and more! In groups and in one-on-one sessions, they also help you with handling the business side of your career, which has been the most helpful. Lindsay and Ryan have been so supportive and are amazing at providing us with whatever we need, whether that is new sheet music, personal guidance, and even some tough love. Taking this class has motivated me to become a better business woman as well as a stronger and more versatile actress. If you are in musical theater and want to broaden your horizons, take this class! – Melissa C.

Ryan Scott Oliver & Lindsay Mendez are two individuals who not only take their craft seriously, but will make sure that you take your craft seriously. Ryan is the kind of a guy who won’t let you give up unless he has pushed you to your bones and has made you realize that before you ask him or anyone in that matter for help that you must help yourself first. Lindsay has a huge heart, but don’t let that fool you, because she will give you the tough love that every performer needs to hear. The amount of time that i spent with each of them I will never forget, because not only have they themselves helped me as a performer, but also as a person. – Adam S.
